Fully dimmable means that a bulb is fully compatible with all dimmer types. We test our bulbs’ compatibility with 40 of the most common dimmers you’ll find out on the market in our headquarters, and we only mark it with our seal of approval until each bulb has gone through our exhaustive quality control testing.

Yes, all Kibün bulbs use LED technology, which has a much higher efficacy than traditional incandescent bulbs. There’s much lower energy consumption in LED bulbs for the same light output as their traditional incandescent counterparts.

Our Kibün bulbs will last between 10,000-25,000 hours depending on the type of bulb. A standard incandescent bulb will last around 2,000 hours on average. If you use each bulb for an average of three hours a day, they’ll last between 9.1-22.8 years.

The California Energy Commission has two sets of energy efficiency standards that impact lighting. Title 24 covers energy efficiency standards for all buildings (both in new construction and existing structures) while Title 20 sets minimum appliance efficiency standards. What that means for you is that the state requires all light bulbs sold in California to meet the minimum standards to avoid wasteful energy consumption.
